Adding an M3U playlist
Open Remote Playlists
From the GSE Smart IPTV main menu, select Remote Playlists.
Add New
Select the plus icon to add a new playlist source.
Choose M3U URL
Select M3U URL as the source type, not local file.
Paste your link and save
Enter your M3U URL, give the playlist a name, and confirm.
Configuring the EPG
An M3U link alone doesn't include program guide data. To get the 7-day EPG working:
- Go to Settings → EPG Settings
- Add your XMLTV URL (provided alongside your M3U link)
- Set the refresh interval — every 12 hours is a reasonable default
- Return to Live TV and the guide should populate within a minute
Using Xtream Codes instead
If your provider offers Xtream Codes login, this is generally simpler than the M3U + separate EPG process. Select Xtream Codes API when adding a playlist, and enter your server URL, username, and password — EPG and VOD load automatically without a separate step. See our general Xtream Codes login guide for the underlying credential format.
